Aurel Dental
An editorial dental clinic website with a CMS the clinic runs itself — treatments, dentists, a consent-aware smile gallery and appointment requests.

Aurel Dental is a demonstration brand. Its team, testimonials and contact details are illustrative, and photography is licensed stock — no image shows real patients or treatment outcomes.
01Overview
Aurel Dental pairs an editorial, motion-rich public website with a database-backed CMS, so a dental clinic can manage every page, treatment, dentist, article, image and appointment request without touching code.
02Challenge
Dental patients are anxious about cost, pain and trust. A clinic website has to reassure, explain treatments honestly and make booking easy — while giving staff a safe way to publish smile-gallery cases and testimonials only with patient consent.
03Strategy
Lead with reassurance and clarity: unhurried appointments, clear explanations and careful planning. Every page is CMS-driven from reusable blocks, and sensitive content — the smile gallery and testimonials — is gated by recorded consent.
04UX
An appointment request flow with an accessible calendar, configurable working days, slots and closures, and a reference number on submission. It is always presented as a request, so patients are never told a slot is confirmed before the clinic confirms it.
05UI
A signature hero with a choreographed, pure-CSS entrance — masked headline lines, staged copy and a drawn smile-arc motif — that still shows all content without JavaScript. Brand colours, fonts, radius and motion are adjustable from settings, with live contrast checks.
06Engineering
Next.js with Supabase (PostgreSQL, Auth and Storage) and row-level security, plus a local backend for development. Twenty-one reusable block types power a page editor with drafts, preview, revision history and restore. Uploads are re-encoded to WebP with metadata stripped; appointment requests are protected by a honeypot, timing checks, rate limiting and duplicate protection.
07Accessibility
A floating accessibility panel with fourteen working controls — from text size and contrast to a reading guide and reduced motion — persisted locally and applied before first paint. End-to-end tests include automated axe-core accessibility checks.
